coming up with a business strategy; and many more, along with the best solutions we see from DEO Members and other groups.

Jacob Puhl

Hygiene: Your DSO's Growth Accelerator

Your dental hygiene team provides more to your dental group than the 6 month hygiene appointment.  With the dental hygienists spending more time with your patients than any other person in your practice, they hold the key to building value, increasing patient retention and improving your revenue.

Discover how your dental hygiene team can:

  • Methods to improve revenue
  • Realize the value of hygiene beyond the 30% of total practice revenue.
  • Organic hygiene growth strategies to grow your EBITDA.

Implementing Hygiene Programs in a DSO

With multiple providers and multiple locations it is important that you have a strong process for how you treat, communicate and retain your patient base.  It is equally important you have a process for you how onboard, train, mentor, engage and hold your hygiene team accountable.

In this course we will outline how to design a dental hygiene program within your dental group/DSO that will support growth, engagement and retention.

  • Protocols necessary for guiding your hygiene team
  • How to design your mentoring & training program
  • Implementing peer-to-peer mentoring
  • How to bring in a Dental Hygiene Director: Their roles & responsibilities.

Teamwork: Build High Performance teams

If your team members are inching toward small goals using careful, proven methods, you’re stuck yards behind and need a huge mindset shift to leap ahead. This program will teach you to identify the things holding you back and adopt a new way of reaching your goals.
Dynamic teams can produce dramatically better results than individuals – but it’s easy to get frustrated if everyone is working out of sync. Improving team culture will re-energize and empower every member.
Building a house from scratch with her four kids (two boys and two girls), by watching YouTube tutorials, was an incredible lesson in team culture. Cara’s family was barely able to communicate when they began, but by the end they could practically read each other’s minds. Discovering their weaknesses and highlighting their strengths pulled them through the toughest tasks.
Using real-life examples from the construction site with her kids, a team ranging from seventeen to two years old, Cara challenges audiences to take advantage of the wide range of skills and temperaments of a diverse team.
This program helps teams overcome challenges and think more creatively about processes outside their everyday tasks in order to set larger goals and imagine innovative ways to achieve them.

Key Takeaways:
• Identify professional roadblocks
• Understand the value of big goals
• Discover the power of a varied team
• Stay confident through challenges
• Develop fearless determination
• Discover the importance of attitude
• Maintain high performance teams
• Increase team energy level

Cara Brookins

Cara Brookins is a bestselling author and professional speaker, who, despite her lack of construction training, built a 3500 square foot house with her four kids by watching YouTube tutorials. Her successful book about the project launched her career as a keynote speaker and media personality and has now been optioned to become a Hollywood film.

Cara’s keynote presentations combine strong content with entertainment to help audiences around the world build a better life and career. She proves that reaching your highest potential isn’t just about how hard you work but about adjusting your mindset and strategy to take full advantage of the hours you’re putting in. Your vision, mindset, and focus become the building blocks for your success.

Work Smarter by Association

How A DSO can improve their bottom line by tapping into a management community

As practice leaders, we tend to rely on our limited understanding of our teams and their ever changing dynamics. Daily management distractions, crises, emergencies and daily tasks begin to outweigh creativity, team development and ultimately patient care all of which also lead to poor retention and poor performance.

As the Vice President of the largest association for dental office managers and practice administrators in the country, Lorie Streeter will share relevant advice, best practices from the best managers in the country and simple steps you can take today to connect to likeminded leaders just like you. Don’t lead in a vacuum because that sucks!

Course Learning Objectives:
• How to work smarter by association – Learn to harness the power of a trusted management resource community
• Learn to recognize when toxic patterns emerge in your practice and how to resolve them
• Review and reward your team for innovative and creative problem solving
• Leave the course with 10 of the best leadership lessons from AADOM’s Dental Practice Administrators of the year
